Capture the Moment is based on the daily struggles of the young indigenous youth living in the Pilbara, capturing the racism, assumptions and presumptions that are made in society while we are striving for identity, equality and recognition.
This project is for the disadvantaged and at risk indigenous youth of South Hedland and Port Hedland, for our indigenous families and elders of the Pilbara and the communities of South Hedland and Port Hedland.
Stan a local musician from well known 'Kaadence' and KJ created the music with the help of young indigenous youth from South Hedland within the program. They recorded live rap and singing . Sophie E and Eldride E choreographed the dance with the help of Uncle Bruce, Thomas and Narelle Dhu.
