SAY Project 2014 entry- We say no to sniffing, so should you!
In April four of our local indigenous girls with help from youth worker Hannah Taylor stepped up to the challenge to create a short film as part of the innovative Students Advising Youth (SAY) Project for 2014 run by WAPOL with ideas on how promote the 'SAY no' message to make your community drug free?
We are proud to announce that the girl's efforts with their entry in the SAY Project has made it to the finals! Only 10 projects were chosen for the finals across the state and their video will be shown to a crowd of 800 in November in Perth for the finalist to be announced!! Part of the judging criteria for the finalists is Public Appeal, so it would be great to get a story run on this to increase the chances of the girls winning. The overall winner of the SAY award 2014 wins a trip to present their film to Prime Minister Tony Abbott at Parliament House. |
We are in the finals!! |
