Education Programs
The YIC Education programs are excited to be a provider of the Quicksmart numeracy and literacy program. A qualified teacher and a team of Quicksmart trained youth workers deliver the program with students to improve their chances of making a successful transition into secondary school.
YIC also provides morning attendance bus runs for four of the local primary schools and administrates an education support program called Reach for the Stars where community donations are distributed to struggling families to purchase bus tickets, uniform items and other basic requirements to access education.
